A large gathering of Lake Suzy Estates residents, family, and friends attended the First Annual LSPOA Fall Celebration honoring veterans. The festivities were preceded by a moving, patriotic event conducted by the DeSoto Honor Guard and led by Commander Ron Baumgarner. Also in attendance was Sheriff Wise and his wife. Boutonniere's, provided by Anita Nagy, were pinned on all veterans in attendance. More than 80 Southern BBQ meals were served, live music filled the air, Old Glory was raised with full honors and a good time was had by all including friendly games of bean bag toss and horse shoes!
The second annual Christmas Tree Trimming Party was held at Courtly Manor Park on November 29th. Many residents joined in the fun as we decorated our beautiful red cedar. A White Elephant Sale was held to raise money for the benefit of the Beautification Committee. A total of $114 was raised -thank you one and all!
The Fourth Annual Christmas Boat Parade & Open House at the Boyer's was held on Saturday, December 12th. The boat parade preceded the Christmas celebration as many boat owners decorated their pontoons in fine Christmas fashion. A good time was had by all.

The Tampa Bay Rays second spring training season at the Port Charlotte Sports Complex begins on March 4th. A limited number of tickets are available for purchase at $20 each.
